  Creating an account on NannyLinkup is easy:

  1. Visit our homepage at nannylinkup.com
  2. Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner
  3. Choose whether you're signing up as a parent or nanny
  4. Enter your email address and create a password
  5. Verify your email address through the link we send you
  6. Complete your profile with relevant information

  After creating your account, we recommend completing your profile 100% to increase your chances of finding a great match.

• Is NannyLinkup available in my area?

  NannyLinkup is currently available in most major cities across the United States. We're expanding rapidly to new locations. Check our coverage by entering your zip code during registration or on our homepage.

Account & Profile

• How do I complete my profile?

  A complete profile increases your chances of finding the right match. Here's how to complete your profile:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
  3. Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu
  4. Fill out all sections: Personal Info, Experience & Skills (for nannies)
  5. Upload a profile photo and any relevant documents (background checks, certifications)
  6. Save your changes

  Your profile completion status is displayed on your dashboard, showing which sections still need attention.

• How do I change my password?

  To change your password:

  1. Go to the Settings page
  2. Click the “Send Password Reset Email” button
  3. Check your email inbox for the reset link
  4. Click the link and enter your new password
  5. Confirm the new password and submit

  If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password" on the login page to reset it using your email address.

• How do I update my availability?

  Keeping your availability up to date is important for matching with the right jobs. To update your availability (for nannies):

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to "My Profile"
  3. Select the "Availability" tab
  4. Use the toggles to indicate which days you're available
  5. Set your available hours for each day
  6. Select which job types you're interested in (full-time, part-time, etc.)
  7. Click "Save Changes"

  Your availability will be visible to potential employers and our matching system will use this information to suggest relevant jobs.

For Nannies

• How do I find and apply to jobs?

  Finding and applying to jobs on NannyLinkup is easy:

  1. Log in to your nanny account
  2. Click on "Find Jobs" in the main navigation
  3. Browse job listings or use filters to narrow down results based on location, schedule, pay rate, etc.
  4. Click on any job listing to view details
  5. If interested, click the "Message" button
  6. Write a brief message introducing yourself and explaining why you're a good fit

  The family will be notified and can view your profile. If they're interested, they'll contact you through our messaging system to schedule an interview.

• How do interviews work?

  When a family is interested in your services, they may request an interview. Here's how interviews work on NannyLinkup:

  1. You'll receive an interview request notification via email and in your dashboard
  2. Review the proposed date, time, and interview type (video, phone, or in-person)
  3. Accept the request or suggest an alternative time
  4. If it's a video interview, you'll receive a secure link to join the call
  5. For in-person interviews, the location details will be provided
  6. Prepare for your interview by reviewing the family's profile and job details

  Tips for a successful interview:

  • Be on time and professionally dressed
  • Prepare questions to ask the family
  • Be ready to discuss your experience and childcare philosophy
  • Bring copies of any certifications or references
  • Follow up after the interview through our messaging system

  All your scheduled interviews appear in your dashboard under "Upcoming Interviews."

• How do I set my pay rate?

  Setting the right pay rate is important for finding jobs that match your expectations. Here's how to set your rate:

  1. Go to "My Profile" and select the "Rates & Preferences" section
  2. Enter your hourly rate range

  When setting your rate, consider:

  • Your experience and qualifications
  • The average rates in your area
  • The number and ages of children you'll be caring for
  • Any additional responsibilities (driving, tutoring, light housekeeping)
  • Your specialized skills (language teaching, special needs experience)

  Remember that you can always negotiate your rate during the interview process. Being transparent about your rate expectations helps match you with the right families.

• How do I add certifications to my profile?

  Adding certifications to your profile can make you more appealing to potential employers. Here's how to add them:

  1. Go to "My Profile" and select the "Qualifications" tab
  2. In the "Certifications" section, check the boxes for certifications you hold (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
  3. Click "Add Certification" for any certifications not listed
  4. Enter the certification name, issuing organization, and expiration date
  5. Upload proof of certification (a scan or photo of your certificate)
  6. Click "Save"

     • Number and ages of children
     • Location
     • Pay rate
     • Start date
     • Required qualifications and responsibilities
     • Job description
  4. Review your job posting
  5. Click "Publish" to make it live

  Your job posting will be visible to nannies immediately. You can edit your posting at any time.

  Tips for an effective job posting:

  • Be specific about responsibilities and expectations
  • Include any special skills you're looking for (language, education support, etc.)
  • Mention your family's values and childcare philosophy
  • Be clear about compensation and benefits
  • Include information about your neighborhood or home environment
• How do I search for nannies?

  In addition to posting a job, you can proactively search for nannies:

  1. Log in to your parent account
  2. Click "Find Nannies" in the main navigation
  3. Use filters to refine your search:
     • Location and distance
     • Availability (days and hours)
     • Experience level
     • Age groups they work with
     • Certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
     • Languages spoken
     • Special skills
     • Pay rate range
  4. Browse nanny profiles that match your criteria
  5. Click on a profile to view full details
  6. If interested, click "Contact" to send a message or "Request Interview"

  Our matching algorithm also suggests nannies who might be a good fit based on your job requirements and preferences.

  You can save nanny profiles to your favorites for easy reference later.

• How do I schedule an interview?

  When you find a nanny you'd like to interview:

  1. Visit the nanny's profile
  2. Click the "Request Interview" button
  3. Select the type of interview (video, phone, or in-person)
  4. Choose a date and time that works for you
  5. Include a brief message introducing yourself and your family
  6. Submit your request

  The nanny will receive your request and can accept or decline. Once confirmed, the interview will appear in your "Upcoming Interviews" section on your dashboard.

  For video interviews, we provide a secure video conferencing platform. For in-person interviews, we recommend meeting in a public place for an initial meeting.

  We provide a list of suggested interview questions to help you evaluate potential nannies effectively.

• How do I check a nanny's background and references?

  NannyLinkup makes it easy to verify a nanny's background and references:

  1. Background Checks: Many nannies on our platform have completed our standard background check.
  2. Request Additional Checks: Through our platform, you can request additional background checks at different levels (basic, comprehensive, or enhanced) for a fee.
  3. Reviews: Check ratings and reviews from other families who have employed the nanny through NannyLinkup.
  4. Certifications: Verified certifications (like CPR, First Aid) are marked with a checkmark in the profile.

  We recommend conducting your own due diligence:
